Events
The weekend begins with check-in between 5:00 & 6:00 pm Friday evening,
and then everyone is transported to the campsite. We talk about camp, and
we mean just that – this is not the kind of retreat that can be done in the comfort
of a church fellowship hall – we will be spending our time in God’s land, in tents
around the campfire!
We offer several different kinds of camps with include: Boot Camp, Father/Son Camp, Advanced Camp and a Couples Camp. In addition we will be offering other special camps throughout the year
Food:
The food will be simple and plentiful, but if there are any special dietary
requirements, please let one of our team know beforehand.
Sleeping Arrangements:
Sleeping will be in tents during the weekend. We will have a limited number
of tents available but guests are encouraged to bring their own tents. If you do not
have a tent, let us know when you register so that we can make sure one is
available for you. The tents we provide sleep two people comfortably, or three
very good friends! Guest that bring their own tent are free to decide who they
will or will not be bunking with. If you will be using one of our tents and have a
preference in terms of people you would like to share the tent with, please let us
know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. The ground is fairly rocky, so it is
in your interest to bring an inflatable mattress or cot.
Cost:
Due to the anticipated response to this retreat, we are operating on the strict
basis of ‘first come, first served’. The cost per man is $150, which includes
registration, meals, drinks, and all activities and amenities. The cost is
non-refundable.
Although cost is a factor, we do not one anyone to be left out. Some partial
scholarships are available for those who need them. For anyone wishing to
donate to the scholarship fund or the ministry in general your tax deductible
donations are always appreciated.
Time Frame:
Due to the intense timeframe that we will be working to, we must insist that all
attendees make sure that they are at the check-in area between 5:00 and 6:00 pm
Friday. In the event of an emergency, please phone the contact number, and we will
make arrangements for one final check for individuals at 7:00 pm.
The weekend will be packed, and will finish at 3:00 pm Sunday. At that time,
everyone will be transported back to their vehicles.
